Signs my cancer patient is feeling better....

Robert seems to be feeling so great this week! Last week was particularly rough, chemo got him really good this last round.
We went to a dentist that his Ent referred us to on Monday and Robert got the impression done for a plate that will cover the hole in his mouth to make eating and talking much easier. That was a pretty miserable experience for Robert with gagging, but he got through it! And hopefully the plate works!
And this week he has been up to doing things, it is amazing!
He has taken out the garbage more than once (I had to take a picture the first time).
I left the kids with him one evening (he volunteered) and went to a women's church activity. He even did the bedtime routine (although that one exhausted him).
We went to Mesa (just under an hour from our house) to visit with my mom and grandma. Robert stayed inside and visited with my grandma while the kids and my mom and I went swimming. We have not made that trip all together for over 2 months.
And this morning he surprised me with breakfast in bed! Pancakes and grapes (again, I had to take a picture - can you tell we have kids with the dishes he used for the syrup and butter?)
He had his PET scan on Thursday morning so we can't wait to hear the results - his doctor appointment is Tuesday morning!
I just had to document this first week that Robert has been feeling well enough to get out of his recliner and do some normal things! Although he definitely gets tired out easily, but I still feel like it's a good sign!
